My daughter suffered from the flu all day on Sunday. Whenever she has a fever, she will have dark frightful dreams, from which it is almost impossible to wake her. Last night was another one of those.
This morning she spoke about it. She remembered the dream and how vivid it was. She said she still felt scared just thinking about it. She had herself scared over something she dreamed up.
How powerful our minds are! Thoughts can be so convincing! And then emotions and actions flow from that. And yet it is all our imagination.
I am reminded of a quote: Worry is the misuse of our imagination. (author unknown)
